Cartographer’s Monkey Missions: Scavenge, Hunt, and Profit
BeginnerTwo beginner-friendly missions from the Cartographer NPC below Crystal Peak near the docks, tasking you to hunt Grey and Yellow Monkeys for skill gains and valuable loot.
Listen up, survivor! Down beneath Crystal Peak, near the docks, there’s an old grizzled NPC known as the Cartographer. He’s got a couple of missions that’ll have you hunting some pesky primates — but don’t take them lightly. These missions are perfect for new scavengers looking to sharpen their skills and score some useful loot to fatten up their cushion.

The first mission, 'Contaminated Monkeys', sends you to Neophyte where a swarm of Grey Monkeys causes trouble. Your job? Wipe out these grey pests lurking behind the area. They may not look tough, but they come in numbers. The reward is solid — 2.2 PED worth of oil, which makes a good cushion for your gear and ammo. This oil is valuable and handy for traders or crafting.

The second mission, called 'Monkey Around', sends you to a crater near the Biosearch Site, where Yellow Monkeys swing and cause trouble. These critters drop great loot like Hematite Crystal — a sought-after gem at the Auction House on Next Island. They also drop Papoo Hands and Tails, which fetch a nice markup, plus Rhodonite Crystals that sell well too.

For this mission, your reward is a 2 PED mob pill — another handy cushion for any scavenger still climbing the skill ladder. Both missions are excellent for beginners to not only practice their combat skills but also earn valuable items and PED that truly matter in the harsh economy of Entropia Universe.
So, gear up, head down to Crystal Peak’s docks, find the Cartographer, and start knocking down those monkeys. Between the Grey and Yellow troops, you’ll have loot worth selling, skill ups to flex, and the satisfaction of knowing you’re making your mark in this savage world. Stay sharp, survivor — out here, every hunt counts.
